Tixel® Skin Rejuvenation
Advanced skin renewal. Natural-looking results. Minimal downtime.
Tixel® is an advanced fractional skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the health, texture, tone, and overall appearance of the skin without the use of lasers, needles, or injectable products. Using controlled thermal energy delivered through a medical-grade titanium tip, Tixel creates tiny, precisely controlled treatment channels in the skin. This stimulates the body's natural renewal response and encourages the production of fresh collagen and elastin—the proteins responsible for smoother, firmer, more youthful-looking skin.
What Can Tixel Treat?
One of the reasons we love Tixel is its versatility. Rather than targeting just one concern, Tixel can address multiple signs of aging and skin damage within the same treatment plan, including:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Crepey or thinning skin
Skin laxity and loss of firmness
Upper and lower eyelid aging
Under-eye lines and texture
Crow's feet
Sun damage and uneven pigmentation
Uneven skin tone
Rough or uneven texture
Enlarged pores
Acne scarring and other textural scarring
Dullness
Lines around the mouth
Overall skin quality and collagen loss
Tixel is especially loved for delicate areas that can be difficult to treat, including the upper eyelids, under-eyes, and around the mouth. Treatments can be customized to the individual, allowing us to address specific concerns while creating natural-looking improvement rather than changing the way you look.
How Is Tixel Different?
Unlike traditional laser resurfacing, Tixel does not use a laser beam. Instead, a medical-grade titanium tip briefly transfers controlled thermal energy to the skin. The intensity and depth of treatment can be customized according to your skin, treatment area, goals, and desired level of downtime.
Because of this unique technology, Tixel can be an option for a wide range of skin types and tones when appropriately selected and performed by a trained provider.
What to Expect After Tixel
Downtime varies depending on the intensity of your treatment, but most clients experience several days of visible healing.
Immediately following treatment, the skin may feel warm or similar to a sunburn and can appear pink or red. Mild swelling is also common, particularly when treating around the eyes. Over the next few days, tiny micro-crusting or a slightly rough, bronzed texture may develop as the skin begins its natural renewal process.
These tiny treatment marks gradually flake away as fresh skin is revealed underneath. Most clients can expect approximately 3–7 days of visible downtime, although deeper treatments or delicate areas such as the eyes may take a little longer to completely settle.
Results continue developing well beyond the initial healing period as new collagen and elastin are produced. While improvement can often be seen after a single treatment, a series of treatments is typically recommended for the best corrective and collagen-remodeling results.
Why We Love Tixel at BAE
Tixel has become one of our favorite treatments because it bridges the gap between traditional skincare treatments and more aggressive resurfacing procedures. It allows us to create meaningful changes in the skin while keeping treatments highly customizable.
We love that Tixel isn't about making you look different—it's about helping your own skin function, repair, and age beautifully.
From softening fine lines around the eyes to improving sun damage, texture, pores, scars, and overall firmness, Tixel allows us to create a treatment plan based on your skin and your goals, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
